From the sunny shores of South Africa, Singer-Songwriter Kevin Lambert’s music has a relaxed living room feel. With a similar sound to Jason Mraz, Jack Johnson and Noah Kahan his stripped-back conversational vibe explores the ups and downs of life and love. Underpinning his hooky melodies and an acoustic sound is his vocal storytelling. His journey led him to London from where he has released several singles over the last couple years.

While acoustic is still the root of his work, his latest release, Running Through The Forest, is distinctly different. A fuller sound with beats, electric guitar, bass and effects supports the fun, upbeat pop vibe of the song. It’s a catchy tune with its get-up-and-go rhythm, leading to a solid four-to-the-floor driving the chorus–it gets your feet moving. The break down bridge reminds us to take a moment to slow down and not miss the simple joys.

Kevin Lambert’s music have gained airplay on Nam Radio in Namibia, Ejazz Radio in Uganda, Maestro FM in Moldova and on CBN Network’s spotify blender playlist. As well as airtime on radio, the music video for Playlist Tune has featured on rotation on the TBN UK television channel.
